In these uncertain times John 3:16 is a stark reminder of a singular truth: belief in the One Son God has given will not perish, having eternal life. The verse, we all know, reads thus, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
