Collision of Lies Book Review

By Benjamin H. Liles

Warning - This book is about as dangerous as an amusement park thrill ride that you just keep wanting to get back on! Tom Threadgill hammers home a beautifully crafted suspense/mystery within the pages of Collision of Lies. While him and his wife live in Tennessee, the plot of the story is set in San Antonio. He is also a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), too.

Amara Alarez is a property crimes detective looking to make, not only a name for herself, but to move to Homicide. When a woman receives a text message from her supposedly dead son, she gets in touch with Det. Alvarez. One clue needs to another and people start dying. When her property crimes partner is shot during an investigation, she has to not only solve one crime but two. One: can she find out who took the possible missing children from a bus that seemed to have taken their lives? Two: Can she find even one missing child?

While I received a complimentary copy of this book for a fair and honest review, I also want to add on that this book was one serious thrill ride for me. If I get a chance again and soon I will re-read this because it does get your blood pumping and you want to help Alvarez while reading it. Just grab a copy!
