100 Ways to Love Your Wife (Book Review)

By Benjamin H. Liles

Matt Jacobson wrote this sweet book about how he goes about honoring his wife in the best manner possible. It's hugely true that when there's a happy wife there's a happy home. But more than that, in all honesty, husbands are called to respect and honor their wives. Paul wrote these words: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it" (Ephesians 5:25). I don't ever go out of my way to mistreat or dishonor my wife, in the least bit, but from time to time I slip up. I'm not perfect.

But to get back to the point of Matt Jacobson's book here, the point is that it hits a right and good point in which husbands can do great things for their wives in little acts of love and kindness. Truly, even if and when we're called to a specific kind of ministry within the Church body it's that same kind of sacrificial love Christ gave the Church. Even Christ said, "If any of you want to come with me, your must forget yourself, carry your cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24).

I meant to post this review yesterday, but time slipped away from me. I received this book complimentary from Revell for a fair and honest review.
