Breathe Again (Book Review)

By Benjamin H. Liles

Niki Hardy writes with an abundance of humor about trials and tribulations we go through as people in need of healing and joy. With her book Breathe Again, Niki recounts times in her life, from her mother, her sister and even about her own life dealing with cancer. While she does so with a down-to-earth and easy going, shoot-straight-from-the-hip kind of style in her writing at least she's honest and open that we all can live the best life we absolutely can with God's grace.

As I said she uses a dose of humor that is sometimes left out of non-fiction books, but at the same time gives some fresh insight of what we can do to relieve our own burdens in life. I won't say happiness as a good achievement at all as it is a brief thing, but joy can easily be maintained when you trust that the Lord Jesus Christ has your back. I do love the book and read it all the way through. One thing I will do here is apologize for such a late date on reviewing her book.

I would have to say that if niki hardy wrote another book I would read it as well due to who she is and the humor that she has. She has some wonderful insights on what it means to trust God in the rough spots and seasons in life as she's been through some of her own. That's the big thing there, too: trusting in God when things seem bad and at times questionable is a huge thing. It's like the same with Jeremy Camp when he lost his wife Melissa. We go through times when we question things, but we can come through all the better, with our faith intact if we simply walk by faith and keep on trusting God works things out for His glory and honor.

I received a copy of this book from Revell for a fair and honest review.
